Are your existing systems easy to use?

By evaluating an interface we can learn about users' experiences with it, where there are difficulties and ways in which it can be improved.

Perhaps you have a website and want to attract more customers; maybe you have a software program that's requiring a lot of support. Evaluating the interface for ease of use can help solve these problems.

There are two main methods of evaluating an interface:

user observation - by observing people interacting with a system we can identify the tasks they find difficult, what mistakes they make and the activities that take a long time
interface inspection - an experienced usability expert can assess an interface to check it meets the requirements and confirms to design principles such as consistency and predictability.

After evaluation, you'll receive a detailed report highlighting any problem areas, explaining why they are a problem and recommending practical changes you can make.
